Phoebe Tan

Future of Sustainable World

Founder & COO, Taelor Inc

Coming from a humble family in Malaysia, Phoebe Tan has achieved her American dreams. She has held several leadership positions in various notable brands, including a finance and operations executive in Silicon Valley. Before she launched her artificial intelligence (AI) circular fashion startup, Taelor, she held the VP/Director positions in finance, procurement, and operations strategy for one of the largest airline food companies in the world, with more than 80 of the world's leading airlines as clients. Her clients also include Amazon Go and Starbucks.

Known for her persistence and ability to solve problems, she has led many ambiguous and complex operations optimization and improvement initiatives. As the VP of procurement, she transformed the company's supply chain technology and operations and also established sustainable sourcing standards.

Phoebe is currently the Founder of Taelor, an AI-powered two-sided circular fashion platform for busy men to rent styles and for brands/retailers to test products. Taelor is an award-winning sustainability startup that has won various competitions organized by accelerators, including Draper University, University of Chicago Polsky Center, and SPARK Accel. Phoebe lives a minimalist life and is passionate about mindful living and saving the environment. She believes the future of fashion is circular, which will benefit consumers, businesses, society, and the environment. Taelor's mission is to play a part in saving the environment by extending the life of garments and supporting sustainable fashion as well as simplifying lives by having fewer clothes but sharing more styles.

Phoebe is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
